IPS E-Max Press
We are pleased to introduce IPS e-max press ceramic which is a lithium disilicate glass ceramic ingot in different translucency levels which are:
- Opaque – Suitable for covering metal parts and amalgam
- Low Translucency – Produces a good translucency on crowns
- High Translucency – Will take colour from underlying substructures to produce stunning life-like results
The IPS e-max system uses a set of metal free materials, which closely resemble the appearance of natural teeth once made up.
E-max all ceramic crowns are made from the patented lithium disilicate. This single piece of material gives dentists the ability to match the original tooth colouring with greater proficiency, along with its physical characteristics.
E-max is the leading all ceramic restoration system. It is the perfect replacement of the traditional metal based systems used in the past.
These restorations produce beautiful cosmetic results to the patient. Once pressed the restorations are stained and/or veneered with IPS e-max Ceram and glazed.

We are also able to press IPS E-Max on top of Zirconia frameworks which produces maximum strength and aesthetics.

Zirconia is a very high strength metal-free tooth coloured ceramic type material. It has good biocompatibility and stability.
This high-tech material offers levels of strength that are significantly higher than say E-max materials enabling us to construct bridges up to 14 units.
Full Zirconia can be used to construct in inlays/onlays, crown and bridge (posteriors only)
Substructures can be constructed for veneers, crowns and bridges.
Full contour Zirconia restorations produce super strong affordable restorations ideal for posterior situations – crowns/bridges, inlays, onlays. These restorations are glazed with GC Stain Kit providing a super high glazed shaded finish.
With fracture free full Zirconia you have the added advantage of keeping costs down as it is an ideal replacement for Gold Crowns as there are no gold alloy charges, thereby giving you large cost savings.
Our substructures are made from the highest quality Amanngirrbach Zirconia which is manufactured in Austria. We do not cut costs by using inferior cheaper Zirconia from other sources.
Amann Girrbach Scanning Centre
We are an approved Amann Girrbach Ceramill CAD/CAM Scanning Centre and can offer a full scanning service.
The benefits to our clients are:
- Highly accurate images of the model
- Capable of scanning the bite registrations, gingival and wax-ups
- Can construct up to 14 unit bridges
- Able to offer up to 16 shades
We guarantee to use only the finest German quality material approved and manufactured by Amann Girrbach.
We work with Amann Girrbach because it is one of the leading companies in dental and dental laboratory technology. Amanngirrbach developed from the merger of Amman Dental in Austria and Girrbach Dental in Germany, which has allowed it to create a hub of expertise and produce excellent products.
Implants have the advantage in that they:
- Look, feel and function like natural teeth
- Do not require any adhesives to hold the new teeth in place
- Are a secure, permanent tooth replacement
The Astra Tech Implant System is a unique dental implant system based on extensive research that works with the body's natural healing ability.
The implant is a titanium replica of a tooth root that is implanted into the jaw bone and can then support single or multiple tooth restorations.
The surface of the implant is treated which speeds up the healing process and generates more bone, resulting in a tighter connection between bone and implant.
We cast the abutement in precious metal or 60% yellow gold.
The crown and bridge substructure can be made in precious metal or Zirconia.
Metal Ceramic Restorations
These restorations provide good natural shade matches based on the Vita shade guide.
They are constructed using Noritake Ex3, a top quality Japanese Porcelain. We do not compromise on quality and construct restorations for both the Private and NHS market in the Noritake Ex3 material.
The restorations are super strong and have proven to be long lasting to the patient.
Materials used for the restorations are done in a variety of German made alloys as follows:
- Niadur non-precious alloy made to CE standard
- Argen Maxibond 2 precious alloy which is 79.5% Pd (Palladium based alloy)
- Argen Argenco 60S precious gold alloy which is 60% gold alloy
- Argedent Y73 which is a 73% gold alloy
Full Metal Restorations
We can provide:
We use various alloys from high content precious alloys through to non precious alloys.
High gold content alloys (65% +) are still the restorative material of choice, as restorations that use high gold materials can last a patient's lifetime (20 - 50 years).
The metal frameworks and substructures are produced digitally in a milling centre and milled in wax before casting. This produces super high quality fitting restorations.
We construct GC Gradia Composite Inlays.
The benefits are high strength and durability, the micro ceramic composite provides very natural shade match to natural teeth.
We produce IPS E-Max veneers which delivers the ultimate in metal-free aesthetics and strength utilising both pressable and CAD/CAM technologies.
The benefits to the patient is that IPS e-max provides outstanding aesthetics, high strength and predictable shade matching even with combination cases.
It uses multi-layer veneers to achieve lifelike teeth in shades matched perfectly to the patient's teeth.
IPS E-Max veneers boast high bond strength, along with a high stain resistance and low plaque accumulation. They are also maintainable and adjustable in the mouth.
We can also produce Zirconia veneering solutions and porcelain veneering solutions in varying degrees of opacity subject to patient requirements, ie super translucent to opaque.
